What OpenClaw does with Stripe

5 automation capabilities

React to payments and subscriptions in real time

OpenClaw listens for Stripe webhook events — payment succeeded, subscription created, invoice paid — and fires your workflows instantly. No polling, no delay.

Sync customers and invoices to your other tools

When a new Stripe customer is created, OpenClaw can push them to your CRM, add them to an email sequence, and log the transaction — all at once, automatically.

Handle failed payments without manual intervention

When a payment fails, OpenClaw can notify the right Slack channel, tag the customer in your CRM, and queue a follow-up email. Your team knows before the customer even calls.

Automate refund and dispute workflows

Process refunds and send confirmation emails automatically. When a dispute opens, OpenClaw can notify your team, log it to a tracker, and start a response checklist.

Pull billing data on demand

Message OpenClaw to get revenue summaries, overdue invoices, or churn reports pulled directly from Stripe. No dashboard login required.

How simple is it?

Just tell OpenClaw what you need

You message OpenClaw:

Check Stripe for any failed payments in the last 24 hours, pull the customer emails and amounts, and send me a summary on Slack

No workflow builder. No API docs. No configuration UI. Just plain English.

Get connected in minutes

1

Create a Stripe webhook endpoint

5 min

In Stripe Dashboard → Developers → Webhooks, add a new endpoint pointing to your OpenClaw webhook URL. Select the events you care about: payment_intent.succeeded, customer.subscription.*, invoice.payment_failed. Copy the signing secret.

2

Add Stripe to OpenClaw

2 min

Add Stripe as a connection in OpenClaw using a restricted API key (not your live secret key). Paste the webhook signing secret. OpenClaw will confirm the connection with a test event.

3

Build your first payment-triggered workflow

10 min

Use the Stripe webhook as your trigger. Filter by event type, pull the customer data from the payload, and add your actions — CRM update, Slack message, email send. Run a test payment to confirm it fires.
