What OpenClaw does with Google Analytics | Analytics

5 automation capabilities

Pull GA4 reports on a schedule

OpenClaw queries the GA4 Data API to pull traffic, conversion, and engagement metrics automatically. Daily summaries, weekly digests, or campaign performance breakdowns — generated and delivered without anyone logging into GA4.

Monitor real-time traffic and alert on anomalies

The GA4 Realtime API returns live data on active users and page views. OpenClaw watches key metrics and alerts your team in Slack or email if traffic spikes, drops, or conversions fall below a threshold.

Build custom multi-dimension reports

Segment traffic by device, geography, source, or custom event — and combine it with data from your CRM or ad platforms. OpenClaw assembles reports that GA4's built-in dashboards can't produce.

Aggregate data across multiple properties

Managing multiple GA4 properties for clients or brands — OpenClaw queries each one in parallel and merges results into a unified report. No BI tool required.

Access Explore reports via browser automation

GA4 Explore reports, attribution models, and funnel analysis have no API equivalent. OpenClaw's browser automation logs in, navigates to the report, and extracts the data — filling the gaps the REST API leaves.

How simple is it?

Just tell OpenClaw what you need

You message OpenClaw:

Every Monday morning, pull last week's traffic and conversion data from Google Analytics for all our landing pages, write it to the 'Weekly Metrics' Google Sheet, and post a summary to #marketing-team in Slack

No workflow builder. No API docs. No configuration UI. Just plain English.

Get connected in minutes

1

Enable the GA4 Data API and create a service account

10 min

In Google Cloud Console, enable the Google Analytics Data API. Create a service account and download the JSON key. Then in GA4 Admin → Property Access Management, add the service account email with Viewer permissions.

2

Add your property ID and credentials to OpenClaw

3 min

Your GA4 property ID is in GA4 Admin → Property Settings (looks like 123456789, not the G- measurement ID). Add it alongside your service account JSON key.

3

Test a basic report query

5 min

Have OpenClaw pull sessions and active users for the last 7 days. Confirm the numbers match what you see in GA4. Then build your first scheduled report.
